- ½ tablespoon ghee ((clarified butter))
- 1 cup vermicelli (- 75 grams (semiya or seviyan))
- 1.5 tablespoons ghee
- 1 large onion (- thinly sliced or 1 cup thinly sliced onions)
- 1 teaspoon kewra water (or rose water - optional)
