  • 1 1/2 - 3 teaspoons cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine salt (plus more, to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried oregano leaves
  • pinch brown sugar
  • pinch chipotle chili powder (OPTIONAL)
  • freshly ground pepper
  • 1/4 cup tomato salsa (or substitute 1 Tablespoon tomato paste)
  • 2 teaspoons cornstarch
  • tortilla strips
