- 3 Tbsp chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes, (or more to taste (optional))
- 9 (7.5 oz) uncooked lasagna noodles, ( broken into 1 1/2-inch pieces)
- 1 cup (4 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup (8 oz) ricotta cheese
- 1/3 cup (1.4 oz) freshly grated parmesan cheese
