  • 3 Tablespoons tomato paste
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour (spooned and levelled)
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 Tablespoons shortening or butter
  • 2-3 Tablespoons fresh parsley (chopped (optional))
  • 3/4 cup milk
