- 1-2 teaspoons peanut oil, coconut oil or olive oil
- 4 fat cloves garlic, rough chopped

- 1-2 tablespoons lemongrass, finely minced (optional)
- 4-5 lime leaves (optional)
- 1 cup full-fat coconut milk (stirred), add more as needed
- 3 tablespoons soy sauce (or use gluten-free liquid amino acids)
- 3 tablespoons honey (or coconut sugar or brown sugar)
- 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, more to taste
- 1 tablespoon chili garlic paste (or sriracha, or sambal olek)
- ½ cup peanut butter, *add after it’s cooked (or sub almond butter)
