  • 1 teaspoon Lemon Juice
  • 2 Tablespoons EZ gel (or 1 Tablespoon Cornstarch)
  • 1 Cup Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 Cup White Sugar
  • 3 teaspoons Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Kosher Salt (half the amount if using fine sea salt)
  • 2 1/4 Cups Flour
  • 12 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter (melted)
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1 1/2 Cups Light Brown Sugar (packed)
  • 8 Tablespoons EZ Gel (or 4 Tablespoons Cornstarch)
  • 3 1/2 Tablespoons Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 6 oz Cream Cheese (at room temperature)
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter (softened)
  • 1 Tablespoon Corn Syrup (light karo syrup)
