  • 3/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 egg whites
  • Vegetable or canola oil (for cooking steak)
  • 2 tablespoons neutral oil ((light olive, peanut, avocado, vegetable, or canola oil))
  • 1/2 large yellow onion, ( 1-inch square chop)
  • 3 red, orange and/or yellow bell peppers, ( 1-inch square chop)
  • 1/2 cup Asian SWEET chili sauce ((I use Mae Ploy))
  • 1/3 cup hoisin sauce
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 2½ tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon crushed red pepper flakes ((more or less to taste))
  • 1½ teaspoons cornstarch
