  • 1/8 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 1/8 tsp black pepper
  • 1 lb fresh mushrooms (rinsed, dried, sliced)
  • 1 cup fresh basil (chopped)
  • A dutch oven or large heavy-bottomed pot
  • Hand immersion blender (preferred & easier, or food processor, or blender))
