  • 1 Tbsp garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3/4 cup light brown sugar
  • approximately 1 cup vegetable oil (,for frying your steak)
  • 2 green onions (sliced)
  • 1 lb flank steak
  • 1/4 cup corn starch
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp hoisin sauce (these last two ingredients are optional (but I enjoyed the extra flavor))
