  • 1 tablespoon water
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 cup unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 1 cup white granulated sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract of 1/4 teaspoon vanilla paste
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons matcha powder (sifted)
  • 1 tablespoon milk
  • 1 drop of red food coloring
  • 250 grams ready-made marzipan
  • 1 tablespoon powdered sugar (for rolling the marzipan out)
  • 3 tablespoons dulce de leche (warmed (I found it easier to brush on when it was warmed))
  • 1 tablespoon crushed freeze-dried strawberries (as garnish)
