  • 3/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper (or to taste)
  • pinch sugar (optional and to taste)
  • 6 small/medium pita breads (lighting toasted)
  • 1 cup tomatoes (diced or halved if using cherry/grape tomatoes)
  • 1 cup English cucumber (diced small)
  • 1 cup diced or crumbled feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup red onions (diced small)
